Product Overview

Insulated Glass consists of two or more pieces of glass separated by an effective support, evenly spaced, and sealed at the periphery to create a dry gas space between the layers. The interlayer is typically filled with dry air or other gases with lower thermal conductivity than air to enhance performance.

The minimum thickness of the gas interlayer should not be less than 6mm to ensure effective thermal insulation. Standardized production gaps are typically divided into 6mm, 9mm, 12mm, 14mm, and 16mm.

Insulated Glass Detail
Key Features
01
High Thermal Insulation: The gas in the interlayer is in a closed space with no convection, greatly reducing convective and conduction heat transfer. This can create a temperature difference between the two sides of over 10°C.
02
Superior Heat Preservation: By using low-emission (Low-E) films, radiation emissivity can be reduced significantly. This prevents heat loss in winter and blocks solar heat in summer, maintaining a comfortable indoor climate.
03
Anti-Condensation: Built-in desiccants absorb water molecules to keep the internal gas dry. Even when external temperatures drop, condensation does not occur inside the unit.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is the standard delivery time for orders?
Generally, the delivery time is within 3 weeks. If specific materials are in stock, it can be as short as 1 week.
2. What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
The standard MOQ is one 20-foot container. However, products of different sizes and specifications can be mixed within a single container.
3. Are samples available for quality testing?
Yes, samples can be provided and are typically ready within 1 to 4 weeks depending on the complexity of the processing.
4. What kind of warranty is provided for insulated glass?
We offer a 10-year warranty for insulated glass units, as well as for tempered glass and curtain wall systems.
5. How does insulated glass prevent condensation?
The unit contains a desiccant within the spacer bar that absorbs any moisture in the air gap, keeping the internal environment dry even when external temperatures drop.
6. Can different types of glass be combined in one unit?
Yes, you can combine various options such as Clear, Low-E, Tinted, or Ceramic Fritted glass to meet specific aesthetic or thermal requirements.
