Insulating Glass is a sophisticated combination of two or more pieces of glass separated by a spacer and sealed. The intermediate layer is filled with dry air or specialized gases. During processing, an aluminum support filled with desiccant is inserted, followed by primary sealing with butyl rubber and secondary sealing with Thiokol, polyurethane, or silicone rubber based on construction requirements.
