Product Description
Single, Double, Triple Silver Low-E Insulated Glass
Insulated Glass is composed of two or more pieces of glass with effective support, evenly spaced and sealed at the periphery to form a dry gas space between the glass interlayers. This structure provides superior thermal performance for modern architectural needs.
The thermal insulation properties are primarily derived from the gas interlayer. In a closed space, gas does not convect, making convective and conduction heat transfer only a small portion of the energy transfer. This significantly reduces energy exchange between indoor and outdoor environments.
Low-emission (Low-E) films can reduce radiation emissivity to 0.1. During winter, heat radiated from the room is retained, while in summer, the solar heat is blocked, achieving a comfortable indoor temperature year-round.
Internal desiccants absorb water molecules to keep the gas dry. This prevents condensation inside the glass even when external temperatures drop, which is a major advantage over standard double glazing.
