Production Introduction
Laminated glass is made from two or three pieces of glass with a thin PVB film between each glass, processed with high temperature and high pressure. It can be made from high grade float glass, plated glass, tempered glass and curved glass. It would not crash into fragments when broken, since they are felt by the film. It would reduce the harm to people by the glass piece when the glass was broken, since it's not easily penetrated.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is laminated glass and how is it produced?
Laminated glass is created by sandwiching a PVB (Polyvinyl Butyral) film between two or three layers of glass. It is processed under high temperature and pressure to create a single, durable unit.
What makes laminated glass a safety glass?
When broken, the glass fragments adhere to the PVB interlayer rather than scattering. This prevents easy penetration and significantly reduces the risk of injury from sharp shards.
What color options are available for the PVB film?
We offer a wide range of colors including Milky White, French Green, Light Blue, Bronze, Light Grey, Dark Grey, Ocean Blue, and Red, along with custom colors upon request.
What are the available thickness ranges?
The total thickness typically ranges from 5.38mm to 17.52mm. Common combinations include 3+0.38PVB+3mm, 5+0.76PVB+5mm, and 6+0.76PVB+6mm.
What is the standard lead time for orders?
Orders are typically processed and ready for delivery within two to three weeks, ensuring a balance of quality control and efficiency.
What quality certifications do your products hold?
Our glass products meet international standards and hold certifications such as CE, ISO9001, SGS, and AS/NZS2208:1996.
